Eco alternative to timber and corrugated centred board
Managing director Ashley Moscrop comments: “This new 3D board is set to be a real game changer and provides a great new alternative to the market, making life even easier for printers. We are continuously innovating and improving how we work and this is a great upgrade
and addition to our product range. We have a lot planned for 2020 and this is just the start. We are working on even more developments that we look forward to sharing later in the year.”

Recycled paper honeycomb manufacturer Dufaylite has launched a 3D version of its Ultra Board range onto the market. With a whiter facing, is stronger than the original 3D and graphic products and boasts the same eco credentials so it remains a suitable alternative to timber and corrugated centred boards for the signage, POS and printing industry. Manufactured in the UK, Ultra Board 3D is available in 10mm and 16mm thickness. Better for the environment, the product uses significantly less paper due to the hexagonal honeycomb core and the 16mm is almost 28% lighter than its corrugated centred competitors, while boasting similar strength and capabilities, says the company.  The product folds more easily thanks to a smaller and denser cell of honeycomb and an upgraded manufacturing process enables the product to V cut allowing for stronger 3D designs to be achieved to meet any requirement.  Ultra Board 3D is available on a next day service on standard sheet sizes and can be made to any length specification. This reduces waste and the amount of material produced, benefiting both the environment and the customers’ bottom line.
