Impact of 5G

We’ve heard a lot about the ‘coming of 5G’ recently, which is expected to start rolling out in the UK this year - and its impact on the sign and graphics sector is likely to be far-reaching. Its much greater speed promises to allow a whole new level of interconnectivity as brands will have the ability to communicate their messages directly to consumers in real time. We will bring you the latest developments as they happen during the year. In this issue we explore the direct to rigid substrate market and how changing technology and sustainability are presenting new opportunities for large format digital printers. In addition, we find out how wayfinding signage is benefiting from improved materials, techniques and sleeker designs.
